Mr. Hatcher currently manages the day-to-day operations and personnel in the Company’s land and legal departments. He attended both Louisiana State University and Georgia State University, earning his B.A., Summa Cum Laude, from Georgia State University. He went on to earn his J.D. from Louisiana State University. After law school, Mr. Hatcher practiced with the law firm, Bradley, Murchison, Kelly & Shea L.L.C. (formerly Lemle & Kelleher, L.L.P.), where he specialized in oil & gas law with an emphasis in mineral and leasehold title examination and oil and gas transactions. He is certified to practice in Louisiana and Colorado with Single Client Certification. Mr. Hatcher is also a member of the Colorado Oil and Gas Association (COGA) Energy Generation Leadership Program (EnGen) Class of 2016.
EnGen’s mission is to educate and empower the next generation of oil and gas leaders by providing industry-specific leadership and professional development. Post-graduation, Mr. Hatcher remains actively involved in EnGen by serving on the Program Advisory Committee (PAC), responsible for class selection and programming. Mr. Hatcher is also an active member of the Denver Petroleum Club (DPC) and is a participant in Mentor-Mentee Class of 2018. Mr. Hatcher is also a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association (LSBA), the Colorado Bar Association (CBA), the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation (RMMLF), the Louisiana Mineral Law Institute (MLI) and the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL).
